Levels were set and traditions cemented at the world cup. Game day is so much more than 90 minutes shoulder-to-shoulder with the same two people. Hours in the pub to connect, meet new passionate kiwis and start a crescendo of energy and anticipation before the march to the stadium.
The time we have some stories to tell. An Art Exhibition led by Laken Whitecliffe is included, with his incredible hand painted banners from the world cup, as well as the best pictures and quotes from fans to tell the stories for those that weren’t there to experience and feel it. Story-telling in it’s purest form.
We’re also including a 90cm x 60cm flag on a one metre flag pole which is within the limits for stadium entry so we can wave the flag for the march and whip up passion to those around us. Just don’t wave it while the ball is in play please.
